Stakeholder Engagement

Sansiri and subsidiaries recognise stakeholder engagement as a key value in aligning operation with stakeholder expectations and effectively addressing their needs throughout the business value chain. This approach creates an opportunity for innovation, enhancing stakeholder satisfaction and fostering long-term relationship for driving a successful sustainable business.

Sansiri's Stakeholder Policy outlines guidelines for stakeholder engagement, encompassing the identification, classification, and analysis of stakeholders throughout the business value chain. This process entails identifying the issues and/or needs of each stakeholder group by conducting surveys to measure their expectations and concerns regarding the impact of business operations. Stakeholders are then prioritised based on their relationships, roles, and influence on the organisation. Consequently, Sansiri categorises key stakeholder groups into seven classifications, evaluating their importance according to their interest and influence levels, and establishing appropriate response mechanisms to address these expectations. The analysis also leverages the findings to identify Sansiri's material sustainability issues.

Sansiri's internal and external stakeholder engagement process is essential for facilitating discussions and obtaining feedback from key stakeholder groups, specifically the top three stakeholders: investors and shareholders, executives and employees, and customers, tenants, and residents, respectively. This process aims to formulate targeted responses to issues that reflect their varied interests. It involves reporting stakeholder engagement outcomes to the Board of Directors and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders every six months to ensure their understanding and awareness of the Company's operational status.
