Waste to Worth: towards a model school for sustainable waste management

Plus Property, in collaboration with Sansiri, organised initiatives to enhance effective waste management in educational institutions. This initiative builds on the "Waste to Worth" project, focusing on waste management within its operational areas to create a model school that serves as a learning centre and systematically imparts waste management practices to youth and surrounding communities. This initiative includes the establishment of a "DSS GREEN PACT" waste bank at Debsirin School in Samut Prakan.

This initiative aims to categorise three types of recyclable waste: plastic, metal, and glass bottles, with a goal of achieving 500 kilograms by 2025. It also facilitates data recording systems, booths, and statistics boards constructed from recycled materials, along with computers for managing waste banks.

This activity is an extension of the 2024 training and delivery of Recycle Stations aimed at instilling sustainable waste management concepts in educational institutions, with the objective of minimizing waste entering landfills and establishing a model for community-level waste management.
